The rooms are nice, our view was of the water. It is positioned across the stree from the docks and near government buildings. We parked our car in their lot.There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs. The Restaurant was nice and had great food. The town was inviting and has a street fair in the evening along the river front. We felt comfortable enough to walk to the fair and enjoyed the evening with many local families who can out to have fun.
Perfect location to get the ferry (3 min walk) to Belize and also to enjoy the nicer part of Cheutmal (we thought it was cute, authentic and high energy). Restaurant under it was excellent too. Please change the pillows! One of worst ive had in 6 months of travel (why not a 5*). Beds comfortable, rooms large, clean, easy to get to, quiet, great AC. Very good.
You can’t beat it for the price. Beds were comfortable, AC and hot water worked. Door was missing a lock and several rooms appeared abandoned, otherwise a good stay.
Friendly employees, rapid customer service. Reasonable room rates. Peaceful and quiet, actually close to a great Mexican restaurant. The house keepers were friendly and respectful, I will surely be returning on my next trip to Mexico ..????????
